Carbon Transformation & Energy Control Hub (C-TECH)

The C-TECH project aims to establish a CCUS test platform in Esbjerg that supports innovation, competence development, and the green transition by providing companies in Southern Jutland with access to expertise and collaborative opportunities. The platform consists of a modular, container-based system with units for CO2 capture, electrolysis, and methanol synthesis, enabling flexible testing and scaling of CCUS and Power-to-X technologies. Beyond the project, the test site will serve as a foundation for future industry-university collaborations and technology development. C-TECH is co-funded by the European Union through the Just Transition Fund (FRO).
