Fluid & Process
Engineered infrastructures are shaped by fluids, heat, and information across equipment and networks. Key mechanisms in fluid dynamics continue to advance, and emerging technologies are expanding the scope of relevant process innovation.
Our activities cover CFD, process modeling, control and monitoring, uncertainty quantification, and sensor-based data acquisition for real-time operation. We validate against hardware ranging from bench setups to pilot scale and apply new methods in a variety of domains within CO₂ capture and utilization, Power-to-X, combustion and power plants, green fuels, sector coupling, fluid transport, and pyrolysis. The team combines energy, chemical, and electrical engineering, collaborating with industry to focus on energy systems, particularly offshore systems.
