REintegrate, a spin-out from Aalborg University, has developed a unique system for producing green e-methanol using Power-to-X (PTX) technology. This system converts surplus renewable energy and CO2 emissions into clean e-fuels, such as e-methanol, which are essential for sectors like heavy-duty transport, aviation, and shipping.

The technology, based on years of research, allows for the efficient production of e-methanol, which can be used as fuel or a raw material for sustainable plastics.

Founded in 2018, REintegrate’s pilot plant at Aalborg University has led to significant projects, including Denmark’s first industrial-scale e-methanol plant. AAU Technology Transfer Office has facilitated much of the development of the company REintegrate.
