The Oxford Battery Modelling Symposium (OBMS) is a one-of-a-kind gathering for the battery community. It was held on 15th and 16th of April at the Mathematical Institute in Oxford. The symposium puts together mathematicians, chemists, physicists, and engineers from academia and industry to explore the newest developments in modelling research and practical applications and it is a unique opportunity to have open discussions with world-leading experts in battery research and advancements.

Topics from atomistic to continuum modelling, controls and beyond were discussed in inspiring presentations. SMART BATTERY group research participated with 6 posters emphasizing the collective expertise of the group. Insights and collaborations gained from the conference will help the SMART BATTERY group to broaden its research into additional areas.
