Low Power Energy Harvesting and I-solution Research Group provides an internationally recognized comprehensive research platform that enables intelligent and integrated solutions. With focus on design and modelling, activities in our research group enable self-powered and independent energy systems for bio-sensors and actuators and predictive maintenance by generation of electrical energy from low-thermal energy, vibration, light and kinetic energy.

How the research group - Harvesting and I-solutions is linked to AAU Energy missions

The Harvesting and i-Solutions research group contributes to "Digital transofrmation and AI" by providing autonomous and battery-free IoT and sensory systems; "Energy efficiency" by recovery of energy loss in industry; and "Electrification and integration" by generating electrical power and high capability and flexibility for integration with other sorts of renewable energy technologies.

This research group is aligned with the following UN Sustainable Development Goals.
