Congratulations to Frede Blaabjerg, Josep M Guerrero, Remus Teodorescu, Zhe Chen and Juan C. Vasquez from AAU Energy (Faculty of Engineering and Science), and Preben Mogensen, Klaus I. Pedersen and Petar Popovski from department of Electronic Systems at AAU (The Technical Faculty of IT and Design).

Frede Blaabjerg appears on the Research.com list with a D-index of 176 which is a combined indicator for impact and publications. He hast just been recognized with the Research.com Leader Award for 2023, and by the way, last week Frede Blaabjerg was reappointed as chairman of The Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy. 

He has a long career, has been a professor since 1998 and have a long list of awards (more than 40 prize papers), positions, and publications. Current research interest includes power electronics and its applications such as wind turbines, PV systems, reliability, harmonics, power system reliability and adjustable speed drives. He has just been granted a pioneer center called CAPeX together with Tejs Vegge, DTU, which is a strategic research center in Materials Discovery for Power-to-X. 

Frede Blaabjerg is head of the AAU Energy mission for energy efficiency in components and systems.
