Introduction to Fuel Cell Systems

The fuel cell systems research group is a multi-disciplinary group that involves mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, control engineering and electrical engineering. The group conducts research in the areas of fuel cell and electrolyzer, cells, stacks and systems, and their control and optimization with a strong focus on the combination of experimental and theoretical work.

The group builds on more than 20 years of experience in hydrogen and fuel cell research and is in the forefront of reformed methanol HT-PEMFC research and development. A very close collaboration with industry is a cornerstone of the research group and many successful collaboration projects have been carried out over the years.
