Vision and Goal of MULTIPHASE FLOWS AND HEAT TRANSFER
The Multiphase Flows and Heat Transfer research group contributes to a better understanding of complex processes and phenomena involving multiphase flows, heat transfer or a combination hereof. This is accomplished using high fidelity numerical simulations, model development and a high level of research. We do so in cooperation with industrial partners to contribute to the development of more sustainable and efficient energy technologies. We make use of the newest developments in open-source communities and strive to contribute where needed.
HOW THE RESEARCH GROUP Multiphase flows and heat transfer IS LINKED TO AAU ENERGY MISSIONS
We solve problems dealing with multiphase flows and heat transfer. Through improved understanding of fundamental phenomena, we help to improve simulation accuracy and decrease needed computational power. This enables simulations solving larger problems related to e.g. efficiency of components in energy systems.
We strive to attract students to work on and solve problems related to multiphase flows and heat transfer by actively participating in various initiatives. Read more about these initiatives using the menu below.
