Vision and Goal of THE RESEARCH GROUP - Offshore Drones and Robotics
Pursue research within control, automation, navigation and AI of robots such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Wheeled Unmanned Vehicles (WUVs), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Submarine Unmanned Vehicles (SUVs) to support the inspections and maintenance of the offshore energy sector.
HOW THE RESEARCH GROUP - Offshore Drones and Robotics IS LINKED TO AAU ENERGY MISSIONS
Our group is linked to the following missions, digital transformation and AI, energy efficiency, and renewable energy, as we aim at using drones and robots equipped with intelligence to directly and indirectly improve energy efficiency and support for management of renewable energy assets. In addition, our goal is to support the digital transformation through smart control algorithms and artificial intelligence.
