It addresses itself to researchers and engineers working in research institutes, power industry and power supply and is also open for participants from outside the Nordic countries. Contributions from young researchers are particularly welcome.

SCOPE AND AUDIENCE

The Symposium language is English. Participants from within and beyond the Nordic countries are welcome. PhD students and young engineers are particularly encouraged to present their work.

SCOPE AND AUDIENCE

The Symposium language is English. Participants from within and beyond the Nordic countries are welcome. PhD students and young engineers are particularly encouraged to present their work.

Papers at the Symposium present results of recent activities on all topics within its scope, which includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Design and modeling of high voltage components
  • Materials for new applications in AC and DC power apparatus
  • Ageing phenomena and breakdown mechanisms
  • HV measurements and test procedures
  • Condition monitoring and diagnostic techniques
  • Electric and thermal stresses and risk-based condition assessment of power apparatus.
  • Environmental challenges

Papers should be written in English (4 to 6 pages) and comply with the template which can be downloaded on the link below.

Notification of acceptance of the full paper will be sent to the main authors’ email address.

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. At least one author of accepted papers is required to register.
